2025 Pumpkin Patch:
🎃✨ Pumpkin Season at Scenic Isle Farm ✨🎃
We grew a seven-acre patch this year for your Great Pumpkin Hunt — it’s a REAL pumpkin patch!
🌾 Weekend Fun (October Saturdays & Sundays, 10am–5pm)
Open every day in October with pumpkins of all sizes.
📌 Stay tuned for 2025 trolley and pumpkin prices!
Q and A:
Q: What should I wear?
A: Closed toed shoes! It's a REAL pumpkin patch in a REAL farm field. You will probably get dirty. We LOVE costumes, pay attention to social media, when we have specials for kids in costumes. However, the weather is SO unpredictable on the prairie, it can get REALLY windy, so be sure to bring layers.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: Yes, we welcome well-behaved dogs on a short leash. Please clean up after them. If they pee on a pumpkin at the farm stand, it's yours to buy.
Q: What do you grow on the farm and are the pumpkins organic?
A: We are fifth generation Shermans farming the land. We grow Sugar Hubbard Squash, sunflowers and pumpkins. We do not use any sprays or pesticides on any of our crops and use organic farming methods.
Q: Are there any ziplines, bouncy houses, etc.?
A: Nope. Scenic Isle Farm is located in the heart of Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve, where part of our role is helping to maintain the rural character of the magnificent prairie landscape. We’re a working farm, not an event facility, so the experience here is about the charm of visiting a real multi-generational family farm — not an amusement park.
That said, we do have old-fashioned fun: games to play, a straw tower to climb, trolley rides, pumpkins, spooky sunflowers, and plenty of wide-open space to enjoy.
We ask that visitors stay in designated areas; we are surrounded by working farms and crops that are not meant for treading on. Thanks for respecting your local farmers. 😊

The pumpkin patch tradition has been going on for decades at the farm and is a way for us to share its unparalleled landscape with the greater community. We are honored to keep this tradition alive. During the month of October, the pumpkin patch is open daily. School groups head out to the patch on the trolley to find their perfect pumpkins on weekdays, and on the weekends, trolley rides are available to the general public. There is a huge variety of pumpkins also available at the farm stand. Come on by anytime and find your perfect pumpkin!
